And so it starts again..

And so it begins again. Soccer season. I would be playng, but I'm not...not this year...I'm taking tennis. Whole nother story..anyway, as y'all know, because you are international types, the FIFA Womens World Cup was this summer, in Germany (because we are awesome like that) Throughout the compitition, i became fascinated with soccer players..I mean, I already was, because I play soccer, and these are my role models, but watching this was...different. like watching Heidi Klum in an interview, and seeing her walk down the runway, in the Victoria's Secret Fashion show. They were just so strong, and moved with such controlled grace..I know this is a bit strange, but it's late, and I will get around to the point, so bear with me...These girls have confidence. They walk on to that field, and they are like supermodels. They know their job, and they look fabulous doing it..ok, I'm going to stop now. Picture time :)

         

           You get the idea..These women are amazing. And it's not just soccer players. Female athletes are drawing a LAWT of attention..Nike tapped into this mostly unused market earlier this year with their "Make Yourself" campaign..It was shot by the fabulous Annie Leibowitz, and featured 7 women athletes..This is one of my favorite campaigns EVER. Actually, it IS my favorite. Period.I cut out a ton of them and they are proudly in my look book..Let me share:

This is the genius of Annie. If you look closely at their faces, you can see the fierce determination these women have. It's beautiful..ok, I think I'm starting to gush, so I'm gonna go to bed :P

ok, so every blogger worth his/her sparkles is all over trying to find a NEW TREND!!! for this fall. It's insane. People are ripping off each others ideas, posts..It's a lot like a 50 % off all Marc By Marc Jacobs sale on Rodeo Drive. And I stand in the midst of all this with my idea, but everyone is so caught up in prints, and textiles, blah, blah, blah, they aren't looking at me. Poo on them :P Anywho, here is my report: BOOTS. COOL BOOTS. No Uggs. PLEASE. Ugg(lies) are for...Yeargh. Can't even say it. I'm talking cool boots with buckles, straps, weathered leather, the works. Not cowboy boots (Even though mine are pretty fab :P), not snow boots. Check it:

So, as Y'all know, I am COMPLETELY OBSESSED with Betsey Johnson. As far as I am concerned, she is Gawd, (Or whoever the guy in the sparkly robe is, might be Elton John) 's gift  to fashion. Her clothes, and general attitude towards dressing are just FAB. She plays with color and dimension, in a way that absoulutely screams out to my sparkly-shoe, metallic nail polish, pink haired self. (Oh, did I mention I now have bright pink streaks in my hair? My Pink post kind of inspired me...) Ok, I'll quit blathering on for a bit, and let's just get to the pictures, shall we? :D

Well I never..

Bonjour mon cheries!

So, as y'all know, I was gone for quite a while. During that entire time, I took exactely TWO  pictures of myself. One day, i'll show y'all the other one. As it stands, I only feel like showing you this one :) However, the outfit I was wearing, and the beauty of the picture, inspired me to put it
up for y'all :)
